The song's lyrics carry a deep social and spiritual message, raising a voice against the hypocrisy prevalent in society while praying to Lord Shiva. The lyrics say, "Main uphaas ka patra bankar aaya hoon" (I have come bearing mockery), but "Itihaas rachkar jaunga" (I will leave having created history). "Iss baar gaane ke ant mein sabko rulakar jaunga" (This time, I will leave making everyone cry). "Pakhand ka jhanda bahut uncha hai, main use neeche kheench launga" (The flag of hypocrisy is very high, I will pull it down).
