SHUKRIYA Song Description
This song tells the story of a beautiful married love, in which the wife expresses her deep feelings and gratitude towards her husband. "Shukriya" means "Thank you," and this song thanks God (or Rabba) for giving her a partner who is as beautiful as the moon. In the lyrics, words like "Shagnon ki choodiyaan" (Bridal bangles), "Mehendi waale haath" (Hands with henna), and "Saat janmon ka saath" (Togetherness for seven births) reflect the rituals and promises of marriage. In the song, the girl talks about leaving her maternal home (Baabul ka ghar) and going to her in-laws' house, which is a touching but happy moment. The line "Chann warga yaar milaya" — meaning "I got a friend like the moon" — conveys the main sentiment of the entire song: the happiness and gratitude of finding an ideal life partner.
In the middle of the song, the chants "Ram Ram Jai Raja Ram" and "Ram Ram Jai Sita Ram" have been added, which bring a sense of Indian culture and spirituality.
