Gehre Andhere Lyrics – Vishal Dadlani | Toofaan

Gehre Andhere Song Description

This song "Gehre Andhere" (गहरे अंधेरे) is a powerful and emotional track from the Toofaan movie. This song is sung by Vishal Dadlani, the music is composed by Daniel Lozinski, and the lyrics are written by the renowned poet Javed Akhtar. Toofaan features artists like Farhan Akhtar, Hussain Dalal, Imran Rasheed, and Vijay Raaz, and this song has been released under the Zee Music Company label.

The lyrics of the song are very deep, speaking of darkness, empty roads, and silence. The first lines say, "Gehre andhere, sooni raahein, khaamoshiyon ki phaili baahain" (Deep darkness, empty roads, the extended arms of silences) — meaning there is darkness and stillness all around. Then the lyricist says, "Pal-pal hai jaise doobta dil, phir bhi ye dhoonde koi manzil" (Moment by moment, the heart feels like it's drowning, yet it still searches for a destination) — meaning the heart is sinking every moment, but still it seeks some goal. These lines tell us that even in difficult times, one should not lose hope.

Further in the song, it is said: "Bas do ghari hai ye duniya sunsaan, aayega toofaan, aayega toofaan" (This empty world is only for a few moments, a storm will come, a storm will come) — meaning this silence and emptiness will not last long; a big storm is on its way. "Waqt ne apne teer liye taan" (Time has aimed its arrows) — meaning challenges are about to come, but these very challenges will bring a new change. Overall, Gehre Andhere is a motivational song that reflects the journey, struggle, and courage of a film like Toofaan, and gives strength to every person who is trying to move forward even in difficult times.
