Rishton Ki Tooti Zanjeer Lyrics – Vastvik Roy | Atmaraksha

Rishton Ki Tooti Zanjeer Song Description

Here we are talking about the song "Rishton Ki Tooti Zanjeer" (रिश्तों की टूटी ज़ंजीर), which is an emotional and philosophical song from the film Atmaraksha. This film features Surinder Singh, Jasneet Kaur, Aneesh Sharma, and Sana in lead roles, and this song falls under the Filmi genre. It has been voiced by singer Vastvik Roy, the music composer is B. Manoj, the lyrics are written by Sudhakar Sharma, and this song has been released under the Odhali music label.

The lyrics raise deep questions about life, destiny, and relationships. From the very first lines, it is clear that "Rishton ki tooti zanjeer" (The broken chain of relationships) and "Hay re kismat, kya kahiye?" (Oh fate, what can one say?) — here, a person is cursing fate over broken relationships. Meanwhile, "Jhoothi haathon ki lakeer, padhkar kya kariye?" (The lines on the palms are false, what's the use of reading them?) tells us that palm lines and destiny predictions never keep their promises. When a loved one goes away, lines like "Mujhse door gaya mera yaar, yaar bina jeena bekaar" (My friend went far from me, living without a friend is useless) show pain, loneliness, and separation. The repeatedly asked question "Jeekar jahaan mein kya kariye?" (What is the point of living in this world?) gives a feeling of life's despair and futility, and "O rabba, shikwe-shikayat kya kariye?" (O God, what is the point of complaints?) clearly shows helplessness in complaining to God.

In the further lyrics, separation, betrayal, and the changes of time come closer. "Chalte-chalte mod wo aaya, bichhad gaya mujhse mera saaya" (While walking, that turn came, my shadow parted from me) shows that sudden changes occur in life, and even one's own person can go far. "Hansne ki chaahat ne rulaya, jaane wala chal gaya" (The desire to laugh made me cry, the one who left is gone) tells that desire and trust sometimes only bring pain. Meanwhile, questions like "Mulk-e-adam se kaun hai aaya?" (Who has come from the land of non-existence?) and "Zindagi ne kab vaada nibhaya?" (When has life ever kept its promise?) express life's uncertainty, the dishonesty of promises, and the failure of love. Overall, this song presents broken relationships, longing, loneliness, and the blow of fate in a very deep manner, and feels completely connected to the emotional side of the film Atmaraksha 's story.
