Tu Mainu Lyrics in English Letters (Romanized)
Chandigarh Baithi Aa,
Dilli Ch Aauna Ae,
Seedha Aa Sakdi Ni,
Te Koi Magic Chalauna Ae.
Hovenge Dil De Mele,
Aavegi Jab Mere Nede,
Ranjha Main, O Heer Meri,
Jab Vi Met Di,
O Geet Koi
Nasha Tu, Ta Pee La Zara,
Main Keha…
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Langh Di Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave...।
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Langh Di Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave....।
Jehde Shehar Ton Aaya,
Us Val Tur Ve, Tur Ve, Tur Ve,
Follow Kari Jaanda Be Matlab,
Hun Chadd De!
Tera Mera Kade Banna Nai Koi
Scene, Scene, Scene,
Nakhra Ae Jiven,
Dilli Di Main Queen!
Peechhe Hat, Hun Warn Main Karaan,
Chadd De Tu Mainu Kalla Ve!
Gall Sun, Ignore Na Kari,
Tere Peechhe Phira Jhalla Ve…
Let Me Tell You,
Hun Hope Na Rakhi,
Jhoothe Tere Laare Ve…
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachda Ni Tu Mainu, O Sohneya Ve,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachda Ni Tu Mainu, O Sohneya Ve…
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Langh Di Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave...।
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Langh Di Jaave,
Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu, Tu Mainu
Jachdi Jaave....।

Tu Mainu Song Description
This song "Tu Mainu" is a love-filled and attraction-filled Punjabi-Hindi track, written, composed, and sung by Adnan Ahmad, Preetika Bhasin, and Shan Ahmad, and the music is produced by Shan Ahmad, released under Merchant Records. The song starts with the metaphor of the distance between Chandigarh and Delhi, where the singer says it is hard to come directly, some magic will have to be used, meaning that in love, a special effort is needed to connect hearts. Then he mentions the love of Ranja-Heer, which after union is like a intoxication, and he says to drink it.
The main part of the song repeats "Tu Mainu," which means "You to me," and the lines "jachdi jaave" and "langh di jaave" are repeated, which tell that the lover’s personality and her words please the singer greatly and surpass him, meaning he is completely obsessed with her. In the song, the singer later mentions the city and says that he should stop following for no reason. The lover who is called the Queen of Delhi, her tantrums feel lively to him, but at the same time, he warns her to step back, otherwise he will warn her, and to leave him alone because he is wandering behind her like a crazy person.
In the final part, the singer says he no longer keeps hope, because the lover’s promises are false, and he calls her "Tu Mainu" as "sohneya," meaning beautiful, but repeats in a painful tone that she does not appeal to him. This song presents the confusion, attraction, and pain of love in a simple Hindi-Punjabi mix, which strongly appeals to the youth.
