This song "Musafir" portrays an emotional journey, where singer Kaustav Mahapatra tells the story of a traveler through his voice and composition. The lyrics express the feelings of a wanderer (a "banjara") who first promises not to fall in love, but then gets lost in someone's thoughts. He asks - "Dil na lagane ka kiya tha waada, magar dil saath tu kyun mera le gaya?" (I had promised not to give my heart, but why did you take my heart away with you?).
