Barbaadiyan Lyrics – Sachet Tandon, Nikhita Gandhi, Madhubanti Bagchi, Sachin - Jigar | Shiddat

Barbaadiyan Song Description

This song is "Barbaadiyan" (बरबादियाँ), which is a beautiful romantic track from the film Shiddat. This film features Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina, and Diana Penty in lead roles. This song has been voiced by Sachet Tandon, Nikhita Gandhi, Madhubanti Bagchi, and Sachin-Jigar, while the music is also composed by Sachin-Jigar, and the lyrics are written by Priya Saraiya. This song has been released under the T-Series music label, and it expresses the deep emotions of the film's love story.

In the lyrics, love is said to be beyond any limits, lines, or boundaries — such as the line "Na koi lakeerein, na daayre, ishq mein had hoti nahi" (No lines, no circles, love has no bounds) conveys that true love exists without any limits, and "Itna behad hota hai ke ye fituri ghatti nahi" (It is so limitless that this madness never decreases) tells us that the passion is so deep that it never fades. Further, the lyric "Jaana hai ek baar teri rooh ke paar" (I have to go once beyond your soul) means he wants to go beyond his own life and reach his beloved's soul, and "Main toh reh ke kinaare pe thakkiya" (I am tired of standing on the shore) — meaning he is exhausted from waiting at the edge and now just wants to dive into the ocean of love.

The deepest message of the song is hidden in the line "Barbaadiyan tumse hi hain, aabaadiyan tumse hi hain" (The destruction is because of you, the prosperity is also because of you) — where he says that both his ruin and his happiness are because of that person, meaning every joy and sorrow of his life is connected to that love. Meanwhile, "Madhoshiyaan hain, in nigahon mein teri hain madhoshiyaan" (There is intoxication in these eyes, it is your intoxication) and "Doob jaani aan, phir kabhi na main tujhse ubhar paani aan" (I want to drown, and never try to resurface from you) — these lines speak of being so immersed in love that there is no attempt to come back up. Overall, this song shows the depth of love, sacrifice, and madness that perfectly captures the mood of a romantic drama like Shiddat , and that is why this song awakens the feeling of love in the hearts of its listeners.
