Khayali Ishq Lyrics – Mohit Chauhan | Velle

Khayali Ishq Song Description

This song is "Khayali Ishq" (ख़याली इश्क़), which is a special romantic track from the film Velle. This film features actors like Abhay Deol, Karan Deol, Anya Singh, and Savant Singh Premi, and this song has been released under the Zee Music Company label. This song has been voiced by Mohit Chauhan in his melodious voice, while the music composer is Sohail Sen and the lyrics are written by the duo Siddharth - Garima. Mohit Chauhan's soulful voice and Sohail Sen's music give this song a unique depth, perfectly capturing a romantic and dreamy mood.

"Khayali Ishq" means a story of imaginary and fantasy love, which comes out beautifully in the lyrics. At the beginning of the song, the line "Khayali hai ishq, ye ishq tera" (It's an imaginary love, this love of yours) is repeated, indicating that this love might just be a fantasy or one-sided. Lines like "Main tujhko ik-tak dekhun, tu ho bas nazaron ke aage" (I keep staring at you, you are just in front of my eyes) and "Hai ek-tarfa, kya khwab-khayal hai, yaar, ye pyaar mera?" (It's one-sided, is this love of mine just a dream-imagination, my friend?) show that the lover is immersed in his love, but he himself realizes that it might be just his own imaginary dream. Even words like "Dil-e-naadaan" (O innocent heart) and "Chand hai aadha" (The moon is half) give the feeling that this is an incomplete love, like a half-moon, where there is only a one-sided emotion.

In the further lyrics, there is also a Punjabi feel, such as "Tainu roz milan di koshishan, karda ae man mera saazishan" (My heart makes schemes to meet you every day) and "Hun tere sang meri khwahishan" (Now my desires are with you) — which shows that the lover tries to meet every day, and his heart's desires are now connected to her. At the same time, "Junoon rahe sar pe sawar tera" (Your passion remains mounted on my head) — this line shows that the passion of love is riding over his head, meaning he is completely immersed in this love. Overall, "Khayali Ishq" is a soft romantic song that presents imaginary love, one-sided affection, and the restlessness of the heart in a very poetic style, and in Mohit Chauhan's voice, this song fills listeners with a sweet sadness and a romantic feeling.
