Laayegi Tu Khushi Yeh Kaha Tha Ab Nibha Le Zindagi Tera Vaada - Unplugged Song Description

This song is "Laayegi Tu Khushi Yeh Kaha Tha Ab Nibha Le Zindagi Tera Vaada (Unplugged)" (लाएगी तू खुशी ये कहा था अब निभा ले ज़िंदगी तेरा वादा - अनप्लग्ड), which people also know as "Zindagi Tera Vaada - Unplugged" . This song has been voiced by Rekha Bhardwaj, the music is composed by Palash Muchhal, and the lyrics are written by Kunaal Verma. This song is taken from the movie "Ardh" , which features Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik in lead roles. Its genre is "Filmi, Sugam" , meaning it is a mix of filmi and light classical style. It has been released by Zee Music Company, and being an unplugged version, it sounds even more emotional and soulful.

The lyrics begin with "Laayegi tu khushi, ye kaha tha, ab nibha le zindagi, tera vaada" (You said you would bring happiness, now fulfill your promise, O life) — where both hope and disappointment towards life are visible. A person feels that life had promised happiness, but now it must fulfill that promise. Lines like "Tune jo bhi diya, rasta main chala, ho gaya hai safar ab toh aadha" (Whatever you gave, I walked that path, now the journey is half complete) show that half the journey of life is over, yet the destination is still far. Further lyrics have feelings like "Sabse mile hum, nazren jhuka ke, badhne lagi hai sharmindagi" (We met everyone with downcast eyes, embarrassment has started growing) which show loneliness and self-consciousness. Lines like "Main roz ghar se ummeed le ke jaati hoon" (Every day I leave home with hope) and "Kya pata tha, hai mera ye vaham" (I didn't know, this was my illusion) tell the story of a person who steps out with new hope every day but ends up disappointed by fate. Overall, this song is a very musical and emotional portrayal of life, hope, pain, and the questions of the heart, which deeply touches any listener.
