The title and main line 'Tere ishq ka manjha chhoote na' (May the string of your love never break) is a deep metaphor. Here, 'Manjha' — the string of a kite — is shown as a symbol of the bond of love. Just as the kite string should neither snap nor break, similarly the lover wishes that their love lasts forever. The line 'Ishq ka manjha toote na' (May the string of love never break) strengthens this emotion further. The song says 'Jabse hai mila saath ye tera, ishq kya hai ye jaana' (Since I got your company, I came to know what love truly is), meaning true love is only understood when the right companion is found. 'Tujhse jo mila, khud se main mila' (In finding you, I found myself) conveys that in love, one also discovers their own identity, and 'Tha mera ye dil, hua tera' (This heart was mine, it became yours) clearly shows that the heart has completely surrendered to the beloved.

In the lyrics, lines like 'Ishq ki inayatein hain, rooh ki hidayatein hain' (These are the blessings of love, these are the guidance of the soul) describe love as a gift and a direction for the soul. The line 'Ishq ye mera sabse juda hai, ishq ye mera mera khuda hai' (My love is unique, my love is my God) shows that in this song, love is considered supreme and sacred. The sweet voices of Palak Muchhal and Armaan Malik, the music of Palash Muchhal, and the emotional lyrics together make this a soulful romantic song. This song will be greatly loved by those who want to hear a story of true love and devotion, and the lyrics provided on this page will help you understand the depth of this love in words.
